MARKET ANALYSIS
OUR TASK
First, we analyzed the existing transactional systems used by major corporate banks in Chile and LatinAmerica. This involved studying their marketing, sales and service delivery model, their products and services, the infrastructure and transaction processing workflows, as well as their business practices including organization and culture. Next, we designed a set of realistic test scenarios that simulated various development focuses for different segments, including fund transfers, account balance inquiries, and payment processing. We then evaluated and forecasted these scenarios measuring income generation, cost of servicing and setup, as well as risk consideration. We collaborated with bank teams to collect relevant data and validate our findings.
OUR GOAL
Our project successfully achieved several important objectives. Firstly, we established a comprehensive benchmarking framework that allowed us to compare transactional services across different banks objectively. Secondly, we identified the best growing option, enabling banks to prioritize enhancements and investments. Thirdly, we provided a roadmap to go to market accordingly with actionable recommendations to optimize business, system development, managing practices and customer experience.
